Paul and Sally Gender Reveal...It's a BOY!

to June.  

Paul and Sally have been friends of ours for a while now.  We were in small group with Paul.  I was able to take their engagement photos, Sally's bridal photos and we both got to be part of their wedding (through music and photography)! They had a beautiful little girl a while back and when Sally contacted me they were expecting their second little one.  I met up with them one evening in June as they were about to find out the gender of their new little one.  Sally was sure that it was going to be another little girl.  But...she was wrong.  Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together.  There are more on my share site as well (in the Maternity section).

Superhero Family

I love spring. Fall is my favorite season. But...I love spring. The weather changes and starts getting warmer.  Everything looks beautiful outside.  And...it's the perfect time for pictures! You have seen this family before.  I met up with them a couple weeks ago for a family session. The boys were "super" excited and I got some exercise keeping up with them.  Here are a few from the day.

Jackson is 1!

I posted a sneak peak of Mr. Jackson a while back on Facebook, but I'm finally sharing some more of this handsome fella.  This family is very dear to my heart and it brings me so much joy to help them capture their little guy! He's growing up so fast! Enjoy a few of my favorites.

Colvin Family

At the end of November I met up with a sweet family on a beautiful afternoon. It was a little chilly, but not too bad.  The Colvins have three kids.  One of the main reasons for this session was to capture  9 month old baby Gracyn. The other two Colvin kids reminded me of something I have learned when photographing young children. Wear comfortable shoes and be well rested.  They were full of energy and made our time together a fun adventure. But, everyone did great! I enjoyed my time very much. The Simko Family

At the end of October I met up with a family you have seen before on my blog.  Miss Carrington is growing fast! I love photographing children! One reason is because it's great excersise! When I'm taking pictures of little ones like this I have learned to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. I spend most of the session following (or chasing) them around. But, I love it. It really helps me capture their personality.  

When I do a session close to Christmas I ask my clients if they would like me to wait to post their photos. They may want to use them for Christmas cards or gifts.  So, I'm only going to share a few photos with you tonight of this sweet girl and her parents.  I don't want to spoil anything. (But I do have permission to post these.) Enjoy these and after Christmas I will share more!

My Boy...Well, One of Them

For those of you who don't know, my husband and I have three little people.  Two of them are boys. They are both one year old. They are crazy, fun, into everything, beautiful boys.  I can't imagine life without either of them.  The older of the two is 19 months now.  A few weeks ago I took some photos of him to capture him at 18 months.  I had to share some of them.  I had to run the entire time I was photographing him to keep up with him.  So much energy. All the time!
